Between Darlings and Sacred Cows

Ricardo Sosa

In this talk we will use three metaphors to address issues around reflective practice in design. The first metaphor speaks of killing sacred cows, the second of killing our "darlings" (spoiled beings), and the third of invisible elephants. These metaphorical vehicles will help us distinguish between the professional practice of design and the advantages and opportunities to connect practice with reflection.
